Someone is showing up in reports who shouldn't be there.

Often, there are discrepancies in the HR feed that oneFOCUS receives from THD for terminated and on leave associates. This means reports are not accurate because some associates are no longer with THD or not available to take the module for a valid reason.

What can I do about it?

Management (and oneFOCUS Captains from Canada and Rental) can exclude associates who are not available to take the oneFOCUS module for any given month on the Module Exemptions page to ensure accurate reporting. If the issue is that the user is wrongly assigned to your location and didn't recently change positions, please submit a support ticket.

How to use module exemptions

The Module Exemptions page can be accessed by clicking on Participants on the menu. Associates who are on an official LOA recognized by HR or who have already completed the module will be indicated as such. For others, clicking on the checkbox will mark them as exempt from the module.  New hires will not appear on the list.

What’s a valid reason?

This is to be used when associates are known to be terminated, LOA, or on short-term disability.

When not to use it

Associates should not be excluded for reasons such as: they forgot, they had some vacation that month, etc. Associates should always be encouraged to complete the oneFOCUS module every month unless there is a valid reason they cannot.

Important notes about exclusions

  • Exempting a user removes them from the required participation expected for the given month only. The same process would need to be done to remove the associate from the Non-Participants list for future months.
  • The exclusion option is limited. The user can be removed from the current month’s oneFOCUS participant list.
  • All exclusions will be recorded and monitored by Senior Management and will include the details of the user that allowed the exclusions.
